My first race in the DTM |
Starting from 15th position always means hard work. During the qualifying I experienced that thousandths decide about your position. All drivers are at close quarters.
Having a moderate start showed me that I still have a need of improvments. Particularly starting manually was new to me. I had just a few test-starts, so my reaction was not that good. » All about my first race

Duesseldorf, the regional capital of Nordrhein-Westfalen, presented itself in its third time professional as usual!
The assurance of the 200,000 viewers was very important for the organizers. Because of that 200 meters of concrete safety fences and 2,5 kilometers of grate walled the 860 meter long mini-track near the very famous shopping lane in Duesseldorf.

After having numerous and effective test runs I am going to have my first grand entrance at the DTM in Duesseldorf next Sunday.
More than 200,000 spectators are expected to take part in this fascinating event at the so called “Kö” – one of Germanys most famous shopping streets. Absolutely amazing!
I am looking forward to present the newest Mercedes DTM bolids with my top-team.
